We understand that every guest has different needs and wherever possible we will try our best to make sure that your stay is as enjoyable as possible. The building has been designed to be as level as possible, with wide doorways and outside landscaping of wide flat, textured granite paving, surrounded by gravel. 

1. Those with mobility needs are able to park directly outside the building and follow the granite path either to the Barn Owl suite (Meeting Room), or main accommodation entrance. 
2. At night motion sensors will light up the path to the main doors, and also inside the entrance hall and corridor serving the bedrooms.
3. There are two bathrooms (Oak & Barn Owl) that have large, walk in shower spaces with curtains, and a TMV3 and WRAS approved thermostatic valved shower. There are a 600mm ‘L’ shaped grab rail and a pull down grab rail each side of the toilet. Basins and shelves are lower. Extra assistance such as suction handles for the shower, a sit on adjustable shower seat and a raised toilet seat are all available on request. Each of these bathrooms also have an emergency pull cord and alarm. Floors are non slip.
4. Sliding doors to the outside terrace have flat thresholds and Oak and Barn Owl also have wider door apertures. These lead onto a granite paved terrace with a table and chairs and access to either the side seating area (gravel) or the parking area.
5. Indoors, doors are level and oak, and rugs have non slip underlay. Oak room also has dual light switches by the bed as well as a dimmer switch by the entrance, and lower, fold up hooks in the bedroom and bathroom.
6. Notepaper and pencils are in each room, and magnifying glasses are available, as well as room notes in a larger type with coloured background.
7. We are able to provide anti allergenic bedding, fragrance and paraben free soap. We do not use chemical cleaners, only vinegar, lemon juice, bicarbonate, essential oils and washing up liquid.
8. We will do our best to supply gluten free, nut free choices for breakfast – please let us know if we can source anything, or you would like to check your requirements prior to booking.
