A SELECTION OF FOUR ESTUARY VIEW ROOMS

Enjoy a great night’s sleep and wake to the mist clearing on the Fowey Estuary.

We have four individually styled en-suite bedrooms, all enjoying panoramic views over the river, village and countryside. All have their own terrace space with table & chairs. Our larger Oak room is also suitable for those with mobility needs, and the sofa can be made up as a single bed. Every room has the option of king size or twin beds. They also have comfy chairs and a small table, hanging hooks and drawer space. Reading lights are attached to the headboards, with small bedside tables, and there is a tray with coffee, teas etc. Oak & Birch can be hired to make a suite of rooms. We regret that we cannot cater for children.

OUR LARGEST ROOM

Oak Room

This is the largest of the four bedrooms. The colours reflect the abundant oaks of the estuary, carpeted with bluebells in the spring. It has plenty of space for a couple or up to 3 friends as there is a single day bed/sofa in the room. It has tall glazed windows either side of the bed and one in the side wall, which floods the room with evening sun. The zip & link bed can be a Kingsize or twin. There are storage drawers in the base, and there are wall hooks with hangers for clothes, and a narrow, blue painted chest of drawers. The daybed/sofa can convert to a full size single bed if required. The room lights are also accessed from the bedhead as well as the room entrance. there is a tray with a kettle, teas, coffee etc. We regret that we are unable to cater for children.

KING SIZED OR TWIN

Birch Room

This bright, sunny yellow room has been designed to reflect the buttery tones of the Birch leaves in the autumn. It enjoys fantastic views of the river from the bed, and a triple glazed sliding glass door leads to a table and chairs on the terrace. A planter box divider creates a little privacy. The kingsize bed can convert to a twin. There are cast iron wall hooks and hangers to hang clothes as well, and a narrow oak chest of drawers. There is a tray with a kettle, teas, coffee etc. Oak and Birch can be booked together to make a private to bedroom suite with a lockable door in the corridor. We regret that we are unable to cater for children.

Wonderful Views

Maple Room

The oranges & purples of autumn Maples feature in the colour scheme, along with a blanket and rug by Weaver Green, created from recycled plastic bottles. As the other rooms, it enjoys wonderful views over the edge of the village and the river Fowey from the large, triple glazed sliding doors, and it’s own seating space on the terrace. There is a kingsize bed, which can convert to a twin on request, with storage drawers on one side, and an oak chest of drawers.There are also cast iron hooks and hangers for clothing. there is a tray with a kettle, teas, coffee etc. We regret that we are unable to cater for children

KING SIZED OR TWIN

Ash Room

A comfortable ensuite room with the blue green tones of the Ash tree, the River Fowey takes centre stage through the triple glazed sliding doors, which open onto the terrace with a private seating area. The king sized bed can be converted to a twin, with storage drawers on one side. There are also cast iron hooks and hangers for clothing, and an oak chest of drawers. There is a tray with a kettle tea, coffee etc. We regret that we are unable to cater for children.

SPACIOUS FUNCTION ROOM

Barn Owl

Our spacious function room has been designed to host small events and functions. It measures approximately 9m x 6m open and has an open plan layout. It has it’s own entrance, kitchen, a disabled friendly bathroom and a large terrace overlooking the estuary. A lockable door connects it to the rest of the building.

Depending on your event we can arrange to move or remove furniture, but normally there are two large sofas, and an armchair, coffee and side tables and a table that can seat 8/10 people. We have a flat, white end wall, or pull down white screen for projection, and plenty of plug and socket points – although we do ask you to confirm with us what equipment you would like to use, to make sure it is compatable with our offgrid system. There is also a woodburning stove for winter use. We can arrange modest catering or you are welcome to bring your own food and drink.

Welcome to the ‘Look Out’ our beautiful handmade Pod, built for us by Jake & team from @timelessspaces. First things first – this is for those guests who are used to camping and all that it entails, but with the opportunity to explore an offgrid stay with quite a bit more comfort than camping normally provides! We regret that we are unable to cater for children
