Looking for a beautiful little space overlooking the Fowey estuary?
Our spacious function room measures 9m x 6m. It has its own entrance, kitchen and mobility friendly bathroom and a large terrace overlooking the estuary. A lockable door connects it to the rest of the building. Guests can book B&B room in the rest of building if available. The kitchen area has a large oak table and chairs, which can seat anything from 4 to 10 people. It has a microwave, toaster, sink, gas cooker and small fridge. There are two large sofas and an armchair, along with a large coffee table and side tables. most of these things can be removed or moved to create space.
We have hosted a dance day, yoga days, jewellery workshops, intimate music events. Its capacity is around 10 sitting, 8 for yoga, and around 20 mingling!
There is a woodburner for use in the winter months, using wood from our own supplies. There are USB charging points for mobiles, and a white screen for a projector. We can organise tea, coffe & cake etc, modest catering of homemade soups/sandwiches etc, or you are welcome to bring your own food.
During 2026 we are only offering the space for day events.
SUITABLE FOR ALL
This bathroom has been designed to accommodate most guests in a wheelchair or with mobility needs. . However, please note that the kitchen has not been adapted in any way.

We have used secondhand furniture where practical, and Karen has recovered sofas, chairs, sourced decorative items, and has painted the room with Earthborn clay paints. There are several USB charging points.
Worktops are Oak, along with the engineered flooring, and the kitchen has stained ash doors.
Balancing power requirements means that we have a calor gas stove, with stove top kettle, and a small fridge, along with low energy led lights.
Outside there is a large, private terrace overlooking the river, with seating (cushions and blankets are also provided). There is also another seating area outside the entrance door (not so private) with tables, chairs and a firepit. This area gets the last of the evening sun.
