We have organised a number of successful open days for non residents, focusing on our regenerative landscape work, permaculture, orchard creation, charcoal making, and our ever expanding research into a greener and sustainable lifestyle.

We are happy to organise interest group walk and talks, or keep and eye out for notice on our Instagram & Facebook pages.

During 2025 we are joining with our village Golant Heritage Group in a project all about apples. As many of you will know, we have created a new ‘Mother Orchard’ of over 100 different varieties of apples and other fruit. So we will be hosting some open days, so please come back and check or get in touch!

Have a walk around the area with Sue Reardon, a qualified local guide who will regale you with stories about the history and exploits of the area! There is a charge for this walk. Please ask us for more details and we will put you in touch with Sue.

We are delighted to welcome Rebecca Oxenham to the Sanctuary to run her fantastic jewellery workshops using silver clay. Rebecca was first a guest, staying with us for many years, and now she is living nearby!

There are various dates and types of classes that you can book via her website, and if you are booked on and would like to stay then there will be a discount code for you. If you are staying outside the planned dates, please get in touch and we may be able to arrange either a workshop at the Sanctuary, or a visit to Rebecca.
